Most School Improvement Plans are hundreds of pages long, boasting countless goals, metrics, and methodologies.

The results, however, are gradual at best—and not what students need. Educentric presents a proven, breakthrough approach to turning around and increasing school effectiveness. Our proprietary model is grounded in high-impact, effective business principles and offers schools the step-by-step coaching, accountability, and support needed to focus on the lingering problems or challenges being faced, what they want to be known, and what they want to improve.

 

This breakthrough performance concept suggests a level of performance that reshapes expectations and redefines what is considered possible. It is a paradigm shift that represents more than just a change in a particular aspect of a discipline; it is a seismic shift that alters the very foundation of the field, changing how problems are understood and solved.

PHASE ONE: ONBOARDING

Month One (Virtual)

  1. Sign the contract.

  2. Hold a setup meeting with the District Liaison.

  3. Conduct a current state assessment, including surveys for parents and students.

  4. Deliver the Current State Analysis Report to the principal and School Breakthrough Team.

  5. Hold an initial meeting with the principal and the School Breakthrough Team.

  6. Present the Current State Analysis Report to the Superintendent.

  7. Prepare for the launch training.

PHASE TWO: LAUNCH

Month Two (In Person)

  1. Conduct a two-day launch training.

  2. Present the School Breakthrough Performance Model.

  3. Develop the School Breakthrough Flight Plan.

  6. Strategies

  7. Tactics

  8. Key Progress Indicators

  9. Key Results

PHASE ONE: NAVIGATION

Month Two—Eleven (Virtual)

  1. Hold up to 25 virtual navigation meetings with the principal and the School Breakthrough Team.

  2. Check in on progress related to achieving the North Star Metric, key progress indicators, and key results.

  3. Focus on creating and celebrating small victories to build motivation.

PHASE ONE: LANDING

Month Twelve (Virtual)

  1. Administer the teacher and parent survey at the end of the year.

  2. Review the survey results and progress made from initial feedback.

  3. Assess results from state and district evaluations to determine if breakthrough performance has been achieved toward the North Star Metric.

  4. Celebrate successes and identify areas for continued growth.

  5. Develop next steps for the second year.
